Who is the 100 Scholars Robotics Alliance

100 Scholars Robotics Alliance (100 SRA) is a component of the 100 Black Men of Atlanta’s nationally recognized Project Success program. The mission of 100 SRA is to become a leader in engaging and exposing youth, particularly the underserved, to STEM activities through robotics such that participants impact the culture. The vision is to embed technical innovation and invention, through the use of robotics, into the mindset of youth who may not have otherwise been exposed to it.

100 SRA formed in 2006 once developing a team for a FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics competition called the FIRST VEX Challenge. Since then, we have grown into 70+ award-winning teams in the FIRST LEGO League; FIRST Tech Challenge; FIRST Robotics Competition; and SeaPerch Underwater Robotics Competition.
